            • Additional configurations and status are currently available via in-band REST API
            • Management interface support (NMOS In-band)
              • NMOS (Out-band) through control lan2 is on the roadmap
              • NMOS is always enabled. The input stream selection occurs through network discovery and communication with facility automation.
              • NMOS uses the address of the unit’s in-band network interface for communications. When the monitor boots up, it actively scans the network for an NMOS registry using MDNS/DNS. If it finds one, it will provide the NMOS registry its ID and its capabilities
              • If the Monitor does not find an NMOS registry, it continues to announce itself through MDNS so that it can be discovered. Once discovered, it registers itself with whatever has discovered the unit through MDNS.
            • IP 2110 Video Format Frame Rate Support
              • The IP 2110 module supports the use of one frame rate type for both the Main and Aux channels’ video format settings
              • The frame rate type can be either integer, for video formats such as 1080p50, or fractional, for video formats such as 1080p59.94
              • In the event Main and Aux are set to different video formats frame rates, loss of signal to one channel will be observed. i.e., the last channel (Main/Aux) that is set will control the video format frame rate being applied. Thus, when a channel’s video format is set with a frame rate that does not match the other channel’s video format, the newly configured channel’s signal will work while the other channel’s signal will be lost
              • You will see a warning about the frame rate configuration when hovering over the video format field in the web UI

            Frame Rate Configuration Warning
            • Ember+ and Plura IP 2110 monitor System Log Access
              • The Ember+ and IP 2110 system logs can be accessed via the Web UI by appending ‘/logs’ to the Control LAN 2 IP address in your browser address bar.
              • For example, if your Control LAN 2 IP address is 10.0.1.209, you can access the web UI logs here: 10.0.1.209/logs
              • To return to the normal web UI control and configuration, use your browser’s back button

Plura extends Ember+ & TSL support simultaneously to various monitors.

            Ember+ & TSL capabilities support with ember+ H/W option is NOW available to many Plura monitor series such as PBM-4K, PBM-4K-H, SFP-H-7, SFP-H, PRM-3G, PBM-3G and LCM-3G.

Plura Broadcast, a global manufacturer of high-performance digital broadcast and video production solutions, Plura unveils the availability of Ember+ & TSL protocol control with the majority of the Plura monitor series.

Many Plura monitor series offer Ember+ compliant control system capabilities, i.e. can be controlled by Lawo-VSM, BFE-Core or any other Ember+ compliant control system.

The ember+ capability is standard in PBM-4K and PBM-4K-H and is available as an option in the SFP-H, SFP-H-7, PRM-3G, PBM-3G & LCM-3G series. The innovation of this product is a combination of multi-Core powerful H/W and S/W platforms to adapt and process multiple protocols.

As an extension to the successful ember+ capabilities, we have added TSL support using the same CONTROL LAN PORT.  The same CONTROL LAN PORT can be also be utilized for F/W & FPGA update along with web URL control and product information.

The core of this platform is based on fully programmable architecture. Future proof expansion (i.e. additional features and functionalities can and will be implemented in the field via the CONTROL LAN PORT.

            Withdrawal from IBC 2020

Phoenix, AZ. – May 1, 2020 – Plura Broadcast, Inc and Plura Europe GmbH would like to announce that we have officially withdrawn and cancelled our IBC 2020 exhibition participation in Amsterdam, which is currently scheduled for Sept. 11-14.

The current pandemic is the key factor in this decision. COVID-19 has already caused the cancellation of many other shows such as 2020 NAB Show and the postponement of others such as Broadcast Asia 2020 & Cabsat 2020.

So you can imagine it has been a very difficult decision to make with many deliberations with our staff and our acquaintances. said Ray Kalo, President & CEO of Plura.

“Since its inception in 2006, Plura has been committed to our industry tradeshows and participated in IBC every year. We take these trade shows seriously and prepare for them all year round. These trade shows keep our engine running with innovation, aspiration and motivation. It came down to what matters most….Bottom line …We value the well being of our employees and their loved ones.”

Our emphasis now is bridging the current social gap with our customers during these challenging times and how to keep them fully updated and supported with the latest solutions and innovations from Plura.

Plura is starting to adapt to the new reality, it’s time to brainstorm for new ways to communicate with our customers bearing in mind the health factors and social distancing methodology. This is NOT going to be easy, our industry is formed around face-to-face interaction, and it might continue to be so but in a different form. “time will tell”.

In the next few days Plura will invite our customers to schedule a one on one online appointment in addition we will implement virtual individual and group meetings to stay connected with customers and partners.

Plura is committed – and prepared – to serve you while also keeping our employees safe. Our entire team would like to thank you your the trust and support in us. We’re on this journey with you and look forward to supporting you in whatever way we can.
