Avenue 7630 and 7635 Dolby E, Dolby D and AC-3 Encoder Sub Module and Software Key Option

The 7630 Encoder sub module option supports Dolby E signals. The 7635 Encoder sub module option supports Dolby D and AC-3 signals. The 7630 or 7635 fits onto Avenue modules that benefit from comprehensive audio handling. In addition to the hardware sub module, a unique software key is provided for activation.

The 7630 or 7635 encoder is fed from selected outputs of the main module’s channel mixer and shuffler. The resulting encoded bitstream can be output both on an AES output and embedded into the SDI output.

The 7630 or 7635 are for use with the following modules:

• 7555 HD / SD Video Processing Frame Synchronizer

• 7660 HD / SD Embedder, Disembedder and Data Inserter

• 9550 3G / HD / SD Video Processing Frame Synchronizer

• 9600 3G / HD / SD Embedder, Disembedder and Data Inserter

The 7555 or 9550 are recommended for use with the 7615, 7630 and 7635 due to the 1 frame delay in the Dolby processors

For complete audio processing, these modules can be fitted with both the 7615 Decoder and a 7630 or 7635 Encoder at the same time. One analog audio channel per encoder/decoder is used for data.

BrightEye 90 HD Up/Down Cross Converter and ARC with AES AudioBrightEye 90 is a versatile up/down/cross converter or aspect ratio converter for use with analog and digital video signals. Simply set the BrightEye 90 to output your facility’s preferred or SD standard. The BrightEye 90 will accommodate whatever input you connect – analog composite, SD SDI or HD SDI. Additionally, the BrightEye 90’s reference input allows you to time the upconverted video output for use with a production switcher. Downconverting to Standard Definition BrightEye 90 will downconvert any type of HD signal and provides both an SD SDI and an analog composite output suitable for broadcast or monitoring. Cross Conversion It’s easy to convert between various HD standards, whether 720p or 1080i. Simply select the output standard you need and connect the input, that’s all there is to it. Aspect Ratio Conversion For converting between SD 4:3 and HD 16:9, BrightEye 90 has you covered. Just select the output standard you need and connect the input. Audio Processing Made Simple BrightEye 90 handles both embedded audio and discreet AES digital audio streams. Sixteen channels of embedded audio are supported in BrightEye 90. If the incoming video has embedded audio, the audio will be safely bypassed around the video processing and lipsync will be preserved. Audio mixing is available for two of the four embedded groups of audio. The AES I/O ports can be configured for eight channels of incoming audio or for eight channels of audio output. The audio mixer can be used for AES channels as well. Mixer controls are accessed through the BrightEye Control app. Monitoring for Video and Audio Audio monitoring is easy with BrightEye 90’s convenient 3.5mm mini jack. Select the audio channels you want to monitor from the front panel and plug in a headset. The HDMI connector on the rear of the unit provides a future proof monitoring interface. Plug it into most LCD monitors for confidence monitoring of your feed. Front Panel and Software Control Input selection, gain control, and test pattern controls are provided through the front panel interface. Audio presence LEDs indicate which channels are detected. Controls for crop, letterbox and pillarbox are accessed from the front panel or BrightEye Mac or PC software. Video and audio levels and the audio mixer can be adjusted through BrightEye Control.
BrightEye 15 SDl to Analog Converter with Frame Sync/GenlockBrightEye 15 is a digital to analog video converter with a timeable output. It’s perfect for feeding analog switchers and routers, where signal timing is required. BrightEye 15 has an SD SDI video input and a reference input. The input signal is converted to analog composite and synchronized (genlocked) to the reference signal. The analog composite output is fully timed with respect to the reference, including ScH phase. Basic controls are provided on the front panel. With the BrightEye Control app, you can control video proc functions; Gain, Chroma, Pedestal, and Hue. The vertical interval can be passed or blanked.
BrightEye NXT 950 4 Channel SDI Frame Sync & U/D/CThe BrightEye NXT 950 Frame Synchronizer packs a lot of features in a tiny package. Frame Synchronization and Format Conversion, with 16 channels of embedded Audio. The NXT 950 has four independent frame synchronizers. Each supports automatic input format detection and conversion to desired output format. Adjust video and chroma gains with the built-in Proc Amp. Color Correct to compensate for input material or to match projectors and monitors. Adjust levels and swap/mix channels in Embedded Audio. Even embedded surround sound (Dolby, AC-3) is synchronized from input to output. Control the Frame Syncs and monitor each channel’s input and output from the front panel, or through the interactive Web interface. BrightEye 24 SDI to Analog Converter and DisembedderBrightEye 24 is both a disembedder (demultiplexer) and a digital to analog video converter. The incoming serial digital video signal is converted to an analog composite output. Audio signals present in the incoming digital video signal are extracted and delivered as four channels of analog audio. Audio mixing, level adjustments, and channel shuffling are accessed through the BrightEye Control app. Audio group selection is also made through BrightEye Control. A variety of audio connectors and adapters are available for integrating BrightEye 24 to any type of system. Use BrightEye 24 in desktop and broadcast applications.
