  • Avenue 1RU Frame

The 1RU Avenue frame accommodates any mix of up to three audio or video modules. Modules plug into a universal motherboard; no special rear connectors are needed. In addition to the three module slots, there is a dedicated slot for the optional 5035 System Control module. A universal in-line power supply is provided with each frame.

Video and audio modules for conversion, distribution and synchronization plug into a universal frame motherboard. Plastic overlays for each module type are provided and slip over the corresponding BNCs on the backplane to identify the input and output designations on each type of module.

    5010 Power Supply

Each Avenue 1RU frame includes a single 5010 Power Supply module. It installs in the upper right slot of the frame. Power is provided to all modules in the frame where it is regulated to the required voltages for the module.

The Avenue 1RU frame uses an external in-line power supply. There is a single point of connection on the frame for power. For customers who want a redundant power solution, Ensemble offers an external in-line dual power supply with two line cords. This optional power supply auto-switches.

    Frame Specifications

The Avenue 1RU (1.75 inches) frame fits in a standard 19-inch rack. Any number of frames may be stacked together in any combination. All critical components such as fuses, filter and fan are accessible from the front of the unit.

BrightEye 15 SDl to Analog Converter with Frame Sync/GenlockBrightEye 15 is a digital to analog video converter with a timeable output. It’s perfect for feeding analog switchers and routers, where signal timing is required. BrightEye 15 has an SD SDI video input and a reference input. The input signal is converted to analog composite and synchronized (genlocked) to the reference signal. The analog composite output is fully timed with respect to the reference, including ScH phase. Basic controls are provided on the front panel. With the BrightEye Control app, you can control video proc functions; Gain, Chroma, Pedestal, and Hue. The vertical interval can be passed or blanked.
BrightEye Control SoftwareBrightEye Control allows you to access all of the controls in your BrightEye devices. Adjust video levels, output timing and audio mixing and more. No DIP switches or button hold-downs are needed. Firmware updates, with feature enhancements and bug fixes, are provided for the lifetime of your BrightEye device. Install them with ease from your Mac or PC using BrightEye Control. The BrightEye Control software is included with each BrightEye at no charge. BrightEye 30 Audio ADC and DACBrightEye 30 is a flexible audio converter that can be a two channel, bi-directional ADC and DAC, or it can be configured as a four channel converter. Perfect in desktop, post and broadcast applications, 24 bit processing ensures beautiful audio. As a bi-directional converter, two channels of analog audio are converted to AES digital audio and at the same time an AES stream is converted to two channels of analog. Alternately, the unit can be configured as a four channel AES to analog converter or a four channel analog to AES converter. BrightEye 30 also serves as a sample rate converter. For example, a digital 44.1 KHz signal from a CD player can be fed to the input and a digital AES3id, 48 KHz signal synchronous to the reference input will be output. Audio mixing, level adjustments, and channel shuffling are accessed through the BrightEye Control app. A variety of audio connectors and adapters are available for integrating BrightEye 30 to any type of system. A reference input is provided which allows digital outputs to be synchronized to either a PAL or NTSC video signal or AES reference.
BrightEye 11-HD HD/SD SDI to Analog ConverterBrightEye 11-HD provides HD or SD digital to analog video conversion with the full range of analog output formats available for HD and SD. When an HD input is present HD RGB or YPrPb are output. When an SD input is present Beta, SMPTE, RGB or composite with simultaneous Y/C is output. 12 bit processing and conversion at 8 x oversampling mean the best looking images possible. Output format and gain are controlled from the front panel. A status display indicates input presence. Video levels can be adjusted through the BrightEye Control app.
